How it works

From application to sale.

XHIBT turns walls in hotels, villas and restaurants into rotating galleries. Six stages, no gallery representation required, no artwork purchase required.

01

Apply

Artists submit their practice, portfolio images and the kind of spaces they want their work to live in. Host venues submit their location, the walls that are available and their guest profile. Both applications take a few minutes.

02

Curate and match

XHIBT reviews every application by hand. A match considers the work itself, the character of the room, wall dimensions, light, guest flow and the practicalities of getting the piece safely into place.

03

Install

The artwork is hung with a discreet XHIBT marker beside it. Nothing is renovated, nothing is permanent, and the host does not buy the work.

04

Discover

A guest points a phone camera at the marker and opens the artwork passport: artist, story, medium, dimensions, price and availability. No app to install.

05

Transact

Purchases are coordinated through XHIBT. On a sale the creator receives 50%, the host venue receives 20% and XHIBT retains 30% to run curation, logistics and the platform.

06

Rotate

Collections change roughly every 8–12 weeks. The host gets a space that keeps evolving; the artist gets recurring access to new rooms and new audiences.

The split, plainly.

When a work sells, everyone who helped create the encounter participates: 50% to the creator, 20% to the host venue, 30% to XHIBT. Figures quoted on this site are illustrative and stated in Thai baht.
